Our Firm’s Second Year & How We Grow with Our Clients
Do you see these chocolates? They're not Halloween treats—they're a giveaway for the conference we’re attending next month. As we reflect on our anniversary, these chocolates symbolize the sweet success of our growing firm and the sweet satisfaction we get from helping our clients with their public sector business.
Two years ago, we took a risk and formed our own law firm. Not just any firm, but one that played by different rules and run by people who don’t look like your typical government contract attorneys.
We passionately believe in lifting others up and have lived this ethos over the past year: Joyce spoke on a panel on careers in government contracts to encourage diversity, sponsored the Council on Legal Education Opportunity (CLEO) Edge Awards, contributed to Black Lives Matter and anti-Asian hate initiatives. Zohra co-led one of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Alumni Advocacy Groups.
We thrive by helping our client attorneys shine—doing our best so that you are at YOUR best. We often hear, “Tong Tejani was behind the scenes giving us the answers… thanks for making us look good!” and “You guys helped me with this diligence, and we got a compliment from the other side about being so on-point,” which is music to our ears. Your success is our success, and we’re honored to be part of your journey.
Our success has also accelerated how we scale our firm. We have expanded our team with handpicked, elite, independent attorneys and a paralegal/business operations specialist to help us accommodate our increasing list of clients and workload. We couldn’t have done it without YOU. Thank you for the wonderful word-of-mouth you’ve been providing for us (our marketing person said she was worried we wouldn’t need her anymore!).
As one team member recently commented, what other 2-year-olds do you know with so many accomplishments? Reflecting on Year 2, we’re struck by how much differs from a year ago—going from nearly all-virtual client meetings to increasingly in-person opportunities. At the same time, we’re also struck by how the core of our vision for the firm has remained strong. As the world at large struggles to emerge into a new normal, our continued growth proves that our commitment to high-quality, client-focused, actionable legal advice is the modern approach that our clients want.
Whether we see you in person during our upcoming West Coast trip to the Government Investigations Compliance and Civil Litigation Institute’s 7th Annual Meeting, virtually at the National Contract Management Association training—where we’ll be featured compliance speakers—or during the course of continued legal service with you, please know that we’re deeply grateful for the opportunity to deliver for you. We’ll save you a chocolate.
We'd love to hear from you. Contact us at email@example.com
